Detoxing from home should be an everyday chore. “Why?” Every day we are taking into our bodies pesticides, petrochemicals, fluoride, chlorine, farmaceuticals, Fungicides, Arsenic, mercury, heavy metals that come through are water system, food chain, fast foods, They are in our everyday lives.
There is a lot of talk in how to avoid these toxins. Sure we can try to eliminate a few by buying through our local farmers market or buy organic foods look on labels to determine what they have in them. But the reality is they are in our Air we breathe, in our water we drink, in our shower, just washing dishes as simple at that and we have chlorine intake that is absorbed through our skin, Perfumes, skin lotions, shampoo, hand soap. dish-washing liquids, soaps we use for the laundry.
How does a small low-income family survive? I say small because in this day and age families are much smaller than in our grandparent’s age because we just can’t afford to feed a larger family. There is just no way to avoid all these and thrive. So what is the solution?
I am a low income, a single mother, and grandmother that has the responsibility of two disabilities in my home. I have been searching for the solution for a very long time.
I can’t buy organic foods they will not fit into our budget. or buy expensive water filters, ex, ex, ex……sure there’s the Brita filter you might say, it will eliminate a few chemicals in our water, it’s better than nothing.
Know that I have your attention there is a way. This is my motto “There’s always a better way.” This is what I am trying to project in my findings. It’s just not fair to our family members to be deprived of all the delicious foods like Cakes and ice creams, delicious desserts, candy, soda drinks. All the goodies that come with the holiday seasons. We don’t have to eliminate them but we can go back to using them as treats, not an everyday necessity.
Let me tell you a secret, it is not our fault that the inflation of diseases is on the rise. Diabetes, Alzheimers, cancer, dementia, cardiac arrest, ADA, and all the same labels that are put on our kids today. drug addiction, alcoholism farmaceutical addiction, the list goes on. you can thank Big Farma for that. They are not interested in giving us cures. Think about it, when was the last time that there has been this great break though in Medicine. The only one that I remember was Penicillin. Yet the Holistic breakthroughs are many, how is it that we don’t hear about them. Did you know that there is a cure for cancer since 1949? Why do the doctors not know this? These are scientifically proven yet, there not know to Western medicine. We can cover this issue in a later post.
I could sit on my computer and go through them all until doomsday. But that won’t help. This has to start in the home. Teaching the next generation, ya I know you thought I would have an easy solution there’s no easy solution. But be can start with simple solutions that will help eliminate the cause of all the above. By putting in place a detox that will help your body eliminate all there free radicals that are in our bodies every day.
The human organization is the most extraordinary machine that has ever been created. We haven’t even touched the tip of the ice burg. The Medical world is at a standstill only treating the system not curing the cause and to boot adding to the problem with all the synthetic toxins that they are handing like candy.
This detox needs to be put in place every single day to help our bodies eliminate and work as Mother nature intended it too.

So what am I saying here? Do we have to go on a diet to lose weight? No! So what do we do?
- cut out all fast foods
- eat home cooked meals.
- three meals a day good portions no seconds.
- drink 8, 8oz large glasses of water a day.
- cut back on your sugars and salt you only need salt to taste.
- add spices to your meals, cilantro, oregano, black pepper, paprika, Basil, sage, turmeric. allspice, Chili Powder, cinnamon, mustard seed, mustard powder,
- add bell peppers, red, green yellow and orange.
- use semi-seed, almonds. walnuts, there’s all kinds of nuts that you can use in your cooking.
- use yellow, white and purple onions
- use seasoning salt in your meals instead.
- limit your use of coffee don’t give coffee to children, add herbal teas to your routine instead of coffee. Limit your use of green teas.
- If you like to eat out occasionally pick a family restaurant that has that has good meals you can choose from, not fast foods.
- eliminate oils from your cooking. bring back lard to your cooking it is much healthier.
- healthy oils are olive oil, coconut oil,
- don’t use oils for frying us lard because lard has a much higher heat tolerance.
- don’t be taken in by the word light on labels. stay with whole foods. These light products are too highly processed.
- bread and potatoes are a staple and fillers, limit your use.
- try to use a little as possible of processed meats.
Just because it says organic, in days world it doesn’t make much of a difference because they are packaged in plastic. Plastic is used to line the boxes to keep the produce fresh. You will see your organic section at the supermarket and most all of them are either wrapped in plastic or in plastic boxes. Others try to tell you that these are food grade packaging. Don’t kid yourself, you can’t get away from them they are on everything, they still leach petrochemicals into our food. So use your fruits and veggies that are on the shelf at your supermarket.

The spices and fruit that I use in them are combined in such a way that they work on your system throughout the day and night. Then there is a smoothie that you can use 30 minutes before your evening meal.
This gives your family a treat and all kids and adults alike love a smoothie. What you are going is setting the family up for a great day that is nourishing and tastes great.
We live in a very demanding word and it is hard to keep your family well nourished and we all know that breakfast is the best meal of the day. But hard to accomplish so we turn to cereals which aren’t the best choice.

I have come to understand that we can’t get away from the toxins but we can help our bodies eliminate them. We can stabilize the glucose intake by using what Mother nature has given us since the beginning of time.
You can make the difference for you and your family, I am not saying that you can eat what every you want but I am saying you don’t need to change your life to make a difference in you and your Family. Just make a few small changes and as you go you see the changes you start to understand your body and how it works. It’s a learning process.
Not all of us are made out of the same cloth all of us are unique. There are many sensitivities to different foods and products. Most will say they are allergies. Sensitivities are the most accurate word. Since the Holistic work has established their own faculties for investigation it has become more and more evident that these sensitivities are from the toxins that we are taking into our bodies every single day.
